Abstract:
Tai'an City is a typical temperate monsoon climate.High temperature in summer affects Hongyang kiwifruit's normal growth, resulting in leaf dehydration, scorched edges, and even falling leaves. To reduce damage caused by high temperatures on kiwifruit in summer, Hongyang kiwifruit was used as experimental material, with shading treatment as experimental group and unshading treatment as control group.Environmental data and photosynthetic parameters were measured using TARGAS-1 portable photosynthesis measurement system from PP Systems, to explore effects of shading treatment on growth environment and photosynthetic diurnal variations. Results showed that shading treatment could reduce leaf temperature by up to 3.9 °C, reduce light intensity by 67.18%~90.90%, reduce H
2O concentration by 4.28%~12.66%, and increase CO
2 concentration by a maximum increase of 2.15%.Shading treatment could eliminate photosynthetic "midday rest" phenomenon in Hongyang kiwifruit, greatly improving light energy utilization efficiency, with the most increase observed at 12: 00.Shading treatment reduced Hongyang kiwifruit net photosynthetic rate, but increased time maintained at a higher net photosynthetic rate.Shading treatment could alleviate damage caused by high temperatures on Hongyang kiwifruit in summer, change growth environment in a small range, and affect photosynthesis.
