Abstract:
Big Data Technology Basics is a compulsory course for agricultural engineering majors. However, teaching process often overemphasizes abstract theoretical knowledge, incorporates ideological and political education elements in a rigid manner, leading to issues such as insufficient student engagement and a disconnection between educational goals and professional instruction. Therefore, an integrated strategy was proposed to combine structured BOPPPS teaching model with ideological and political education.Taking big data privacy and security as an example, ideological and political education elements were organically embedded into each phase of BOPPPS model, including bridge-in, objective, pre-assessment, participatory-learning, post-assessment, and summary, thereby comprehensively demonstrating entire teaching process from resource organization, implementation to evaluation.Theoretical analysis and teaching practice have indicated that BOPPPS-based integrated ideological and political education model significantly enhance classroom interaction and student engagement, achieveing a natural integration of value cultivation and knowledge transmission. It provides a replicable and scalable effective pathway for implementing ideological and political education in specialized courses.
