Abstract: As the largest producer and consumer of pomelo crops, China faces intense competition among pomelo varieties．Successful introduction of Thai Kaoya pomelo to Youjiang District, Baise City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has demonstrated superior traits, including vigorous growth, high fruit setting rate, excellent quality, and strong stress resistance．Coupled with high-yield cultivation management techniques, a more significant development potential in competition among pomelo varieties has been revealed．
