Abstract:
To address issue of poor peanut plant gathering effect when lifting and conveying chain operates independently, a collection device for peanut harvesters was designed.Using EDEM-RecurDyn coupled simulation method, with active roller speed, lifting chain speed, and feeding quantity as test factors, a three-factor and three-level orthogonal experiment was designed.Optimal parameters were obtained through response surface analysis. Results have showed that optimal parameters were: active roller speed of 125.359 r/min, lifting chain speed of 618.673 mm/s, and feeding quantity of 4.244 kg/s, corresponding to a collection rate of 95.85%.Based on optimal parameters obtained from simulation, field tests were conducted to verify average collection rate, which reached 95.62% under these parameters, meeting agronomic requirements and providing a basis for optimizing peanut harvester collection device.
