Abstract: Under national policies support, with continuous expansion of feed market scale and deep integration of technology across entire industrial chain, feed industry has ushered in important development opportunities．Digital economy empowers productivity growth through full-process digital control, laying a solid foundation for high-quality development, strengthening industrial resilience through digital supply chain collaboration breaks through bottlenecks in high-quality development, reconstructing customer relationships through digital service ecosystems activates momentum for high-quality development, and promoting green transformation through digital research and innovation leads high-quality development direction, to inject strong impetus into feed industry's high-quality development．However, there remain predicaments such as an imbalance between costs and returns, a gap in regional empowerment, a shortage of compound talents, and weak data governance．Based on potential and practical predicaments of digital economy in empowering feed industry, effective paths for empowering feed industry through digital economy have been explored in depth．Strategies such as multi-path collaboration to lower threshold for transformation, multi-mechanism collaboration to optimize industrial layout, multi-subject linkage to reconstruct education system, and multi-link linkage to improve data collection have been proposed to further strengthen digital economy's role in supporting and driving feed industry．
