Abstract:
Aiming to address problems of high injury rates and unsatisfactory potato-soil screening during sweet potato two-ridge harvesting operation in Shandong Province, a double-shovel type sweet potato two-ridge harvester was designed, which could realize functions of digging, conveying, separating and centralized spreading of sweet potato.Overall structure and working principle were described, with key components such as double-shovel digging device and clamping-type conveying and separating device were designed.Field test results showed that conveying and separating device speed was 1.2 m/s, shaker vibration frequency was 360 times/min, with the best sweet potato harvest quality indexes.A reference for mechanized harvesting of sweet potato in two-ridge planting was provided.
