Abstract:
Practical application of Feed Resources Development and Utilization course in cultivation of innovation ability for undergraduate students majoring in feed engineering was explored.Current situation of China's feed industry and important effect of fodder corn and soybean content reduction were analyzed.A detailed analysis of course design for feed engineering major at Wuhan Polytechnic University was provided, with a focus on critical role of practical training in fostering undergraduate innovation capabilities, including centralized practical teaching, theoretical and experimental courses combination, and interdisciplinary knowledge integration.School of Modern Feed Industry in Wuhan Polytechnic University and its role in closed loop of university-enterprise cooperation and talent cultivation were introduced, and advantages and challenges of university-enterprise joint cultivation model were discussed.Furthermore, engineering cases introduction in curriculum and online learning resources design were analyzed to promote students' practical ability and innovative thinking cultivation.Multiple ways for students to participate in corporate research and achievements and impacts were described in detail.Students' comprehensive ability and market competitiveness could be effectively enhanced by optimizing course design and teaching methods, combining with university-enterprise cooperation and practical education.
