Abstract:
To address issues of high labor intensity and safety hazards during process of tobacco loading, an intelligent tobacco loading robot was designed based on structure of intensive baking house and tobacco curing process requirements.Robot consists of lifting-loading unit, transitional fixed frame, mobile tobacco rack, running track, and control system.Lifting-loading unit carries prepared tobacco clamps and transports them along running track into baking house.Control system intelligently determines required loading level, height, tobacco quantity, and position based on current loading status of baking house, thereby enabling automated and intelligent loading operations.Prototype testing and comparisons within baking house indicated that under full-load conditions, average loading speed 3.3 cigarettes per minute, outperforming chain side-lifting tobacco loading machine. This innovation reduces labor requirements and intensity for tobacco farmers while improving operational efficiency and safety.
