Abstract:
Automatic navigation technology for corn harvesters is a critical component to achieve whole-process intelligent corn production. It primarily encompasses environmental perception, path planning methods, and path tracking control.Advantages and disadvantages of four environmental perception methods including global navigation satellite system(GNSS), machine vision, light detection and ranging(LiDAR), and mechanical contact navigation were reviewed for these three technologies.Several path planning methods were briefly introduced, along with advantages and disadvantages of three path tracking control techniques: PID control, fuzzy control, and pure tracking control. Finally, a prospective outlook on automatic navigation technology for corn harvester was presented, aiming to provide valuable insights for relevant research.
