Abstract:
Straw serves as a crucial raw material for edible mushroom cultivation.To facilitate automated wetting of high-pressure baled straw, an automated wetting equipment system was designed.Based on requirements and current status of straw bale wetting processes, a water-saving wetting system was developed.An automated system was designed with PLC, touchscreen interface, and remote controller.Experiments were conducted to determine normal operating duration of key equipment components.Based on this data, safety protection programs were designed for equipment.A flexible touchscreen program was developed to enable user to easily adjust parameters.Experiments demonstrated that this control system fulfilled production line's requirements for control, safety, and fault identification, thereby enhancing industry's automation and standardization levels.
