Abstract:
Based on survey data of 124 onion growers in Zhangqiu District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, an integrated model of technology adoption, moderating variables and high-quality development was constructed, to explore impact mechanism of green production technology adoption on Zhangqiu onion's high-quality development and test moderating effects of operating scale and human capital. Results showed that green production technology adoption significantly promoted Zhangqiu onion's high-quality development.Operating scale had a negative moderating effect on impact of green production technology, with scale expansion leading to diminishing marginal benefits.Human capital had a positive moderating effect on impact of green production technology.Among control variables, risk preference and irrigation conditions had a significant positive impacts on high-quality development, while age and cooperative participation exhibited negative effects.Based on these findings, it was suggested to build a trinity promotion system integrating demonstration-training-subsidy, implement differentiated scale operation management policies, and strengthen human capital cultivation mechanism.
