Abstract: China is birthplace and core production center of global silkworm industry and possesses abundant silkworm genetic resources．To strengthen protection of silkworm genetic resources and achieve effective data information sharing, the national silkworm genetic resources gene bank（Jiangsu）database has been established．Based on a Browser/Server architecture, platform integrated data collection, storage, analysis, and publication functions．It has consolidated multi-dimensional information, including genetic characteristic data and breeding development records, from over 1100 samples of domestic Bombyx mori and Samia cynthia ricini resources．Specialized databases for developed varieties, currently produced varieties, and genetic information have also been established．Platform has established core modules for silkworm genetic resources data management, data retrieval, and shared information publication．It has been made accessible via Internet at www.gbjssilkworm.com, enabling sharing of silkworm genetic resource data and providing digital support for conservation and utilization of silkworm genetic resources．
