Abstract: Potato seeding operations quality is an important factor affecting yield．With potato industry development, demand for high-performance and high-quality mechanized seeding technology has become increasingly urgent．Potato planter and its technical characteristics both domestically and internationally have been introduced, key technologies including seed spacing control, seed metering, seeding monitoring, and plastic film mulching have been summarized to provide references for potato seeding technology research．
