Abstract: Rural areas in western China are inconvenient in transportation and relatively backward in economic development，emergence of e-commerce has provided new ideas for development of western rural areas.Advantages and existing problems of developing e-commerce in rural areas of western China were analyzed，and corresponding development measures were put forward.
