Abstract: Agricultural intensification is the effective way of improving grain outputs，and China′s agriculture is moving towards to intensification.In order to alleviate the sharp contradictions between rapid increasing population and relative shortage of the cultivated land resources，agricultural intensification will be the direction of agricultural development in China.With the support of GIS technology，the paper utilized entropy method to determine the index weights，and made use of the multi-objective synthesis evaluation model to analyze the longitudinal comparison and spatial distribution of degree of agricultural intensification in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.The results indicated that vertical years basically presented the rising trend in the shape of ladder，in 2009 various counties and cities had significant difference on the degree of agricultural intensification，mainly showing the rising distribution rule from south to north.The evaluation results could provide scientific proofs for agricultural production administration and agricultural scale management in the research area.
