Abstract: This article introduces the potato production situation from planting area，production quantity and yield of every hectare in the world.It has realized the customization，standardization and scale production in the Europe and America from the statistical data，planting area and yield of every hectare are front row in the world.The planting area and production quantity of China are the first place in the world，but yield of every hectare cannot get the world average level and have more distance relative to Europe and America.It analyses the main factors that affect the potato yield of every hectare by the comparison between China and other field in the world，It points out the potato industrial development direction in the future.
