Abstract: The paper reviews current status of geothermal power generation，analyses and predicts the developing prospect of the geothermal power plant.It focuses on the geothermal power generation technology of dry steam type，flash steam type and binary cycle type，etc.Technical features of instrument，control and monitoring system requied by geothermal power plant are analyzed in detail on the basis of various aspects of computer contol system，closedcircuit TV monitoring system，conventionary and special instrument and detecting equipment or system.
