Abstract: Today，precision farming technology has become increasingly important with the rise in labor costs，more and more new technologies and equipment placed in front of the farmers，how to be a lot of information and data integration applications become problems farmers.So smart farming was presented.Concept，development direction，and current application status of smart farming were introduced from six aspects，but also to be clarify the problems in the development.
