Abstract: Chemical pesticides played a key role to reach high yield in China.But many problems，like plant protection machinery and chemical control technology， resulted in ecological environment deterioration and environmental pollution，posed a threat to food security and health of people. Modern physical control technologies broke through traditional concept of pest control and production patterns.Application amount of chemical pesticides and environmental pollution were decreased by using modern physical control technologies.For developing non-polluted forestry industry，ensuring ecology and food security，improving quality and economic benefit of agricultural product and promoting ecological balance and virtuous circle of ecological environment，modern physics prevention is a new development trend of green plant protection.
