Abstract: Necessity of combine harvester with rear wheel drive hydraulic system was discussed from market investigation.Key technologies and requirements to be solved were proposed by practical experience in transforming.Finally，according to present situation of combine harvester industry and actual situation of vast rural areas in our country，combine harvester with rear wheel drive hydraulic system was development trend in harvester industry in China.
