Abstract: Characteristics and advantages of agricultural water-saving irrigation were sketched.Problems of agricultural water-saving irrigation were revealed.Reasons for the slow development of agricultural water-saving irrigation were analyzed.Useful measures of agricultural water-saving irrigation in northeast China were put forword so as to provide reference for water conservancy workers，agricultural experts，scholars and users.
