Abstract: Rape is an important oil crop in Sichuan province with traditional advantage.Current situation of rape production in hilly area of Sichuan province and the difficulty in the promotion of mechanized production were analyzed.Development trend of rape production in hilly area of Sichuan province was introduced，which produced sustained and healthy development basis to rape production.
