Abstract: Importance of effective plant protection machinery was introduced.Present development situation of plant protection machinery industry at domestic and foreign was analyzed.Domestic gap and problems of plant protection machinery were pointed out. Development direction of domestic was expand application machinery category，integrate intelligent and information technology upgrades to existing technology and machine，electricity and liquid height integrated system.Suggestions that establishing three-dimensional control system such as sky and ground plant protection machinery matching，general type and special type combination，different planting patterns，different chemicals and different crops based on professional unified prevention and management for plant diseases and insect pests were put forward.
