Abstract: Design principle about core components of straw cover potato planter and demonstration of potato planter in main promotion area were introduced according to planting mode of straw mulching potato.Cultivation techniques of potato planting including soil conditions，seed selection，soil preparation，fertilizing，field management and other technical conditions were summarized through experiment.
