Abstract: Research progress of improving saline alkali soil was summarized from the following aspects：physical technique，water conservancy technique，chemistry，biotechnology，and applying natural mineral soil resources and industrial waste，etc.Development of technology for improving saline alkali soil in the future was put forward.
