Abstract: Domestic demand for transplanting machine increased obviously with the development of seedling transplanting technology.Development status of dryland transplanting machine at home and abroad was expounded.Structural features and working principle of common transplanting machine were introduced.Main problems of domestic transplanting machine were pointed out.On this basis，development trend of transplanting machine in the future was put forward.Semi-automatic transplanting machine would also be long-term occupy a large market share，but automatic transplanting machine would be the development trend in the future.
