Abstract: In recent years，forage harvester has made great breakthrough in China.It basically formed series，and also developed gradually to large-scale and intelligent.Pattern of forage harvesting mechanization has been basically established.The problem to be solved was to improve quality of forage.All kinds of involved machinery in the process of high quality forage grass preparation were summarized according to forage harvesting technology.It pointed out that in order to produce high quality forage，there must be a reasonable harvest process to match harvesting and processing machinery.
