Abstract: Factors and contents that should be considered in design process of tractor hood were introduced according to characteristics of tractor hood.Technical output data of tractor hood in the stage of product design was determined rely on standard product development process.It could improve quality of product design about tractor hood，improve design efficiency，reduce design changes and achieve expected goals.
