Abstract: Take current situation of basic farmland utilization in Xibiangou village of Heishichuan town in Gaolan county as examples，use qualitative and quantitative methods，basic farmland natural geographical conditions and quality status of research area were analyzed，and existing problems were also analyzed.Reasonable and feasible countermeasures for basic farmland in the loess plateau hilly gully were put forward.Agricultural foundation status were further strengthened，rural economic vitality was enhanced，agricultural ecological environment was improved，and sustainable development of agriculture and rural economy were kept.It provided powerful resources for county economic development and has great and far-reaching significance to ensure national food security.
