Abstract: In order to guide rural farmers to build，promote orderly development of rural residents，and protect and save arable land，combined with the author′s actual participation of rural housing land application for examination and approval work in Tengchong county，Yunnan province，farmers′ housing construction land application sample were descripted，present situation and problems for approval of rural residential land were analyzed，and concrete solutions to countermeasures were put forward through literature research，theoretical analysis and empirical investigation method.Results showed that problems need to be solved by means of publicity of laws and regulations on land law，further strengthening and perfecting the village planning and management，strict accordance with the examination and approval of construction land management，and strengthening construction land management aspects.
