Abstract: According to planting characteristics of cotton producing areas and planting pattern of harvesting cotton with machinery in the north of Shandong province，2BMQ-8 type pneumatic cotton precision planter was designed and developed.This planter was mainly composed with framework，suspension device，deep loosening fertilizing device，double disc ditching device，suction-type metering device，farmflex，film covering and soil covering device，etc.It could do the following work at one time，including fertilizing，ditching，sowing，pressing，film covering and soil covering.Its operating efficiency was high and performance was excellent.
