Abstract: Rice is an important crop in Sanying town of Eryuan county，Yunnan province.Plant diseases and insect pests are important factors affecting rice quality.In recent years，plant protection policy of‘prevention first，comprehensive prevention and control’was adhered.Green control technology was adopted to prevent and control diseases and insect pests of rice.Remarkable results of prevention and control were achieved.Main practices and results in the development of green control of rice diseases and pests were introduced in order to promote sustainable development of local rice industry.
