Abstract: According to agronomic requirements for cotton cultivation in Shandong province，a kind of adjustable roller cotton laminating device was designed and developed.The device mainly composed with trenching disc，profiling lamination wheel，soil covering disc，soil covering roller and so on.Design of copying lamination wheel was focused.Structure parameters of trenching disc and soil covering disc were analyzed and optimized.Field test results showed that roller cotton laminating device had adaptable ability and convenient adjustment.And it could be matched with large cotton sowing machine，effect of film mulching was stable，thickness of soil covered with film was equal to or greater than 40 mm，thickness of overlying soil was equal to or greater than 30 mm，and its operation index was better than relevant industry standards.
