Abstract: According to characteristics of course of‘Food Machinery & Equipment’and problems in the teaching process，a series of reform that include group discussions，etc.were carried out and students′ enthusiasm for learning this course was improved.A variety of teaching methods to enable students to learn more close to actual theory and application of knowledge in a limited period of time were used.
