Abstract: Seeding machinery is a planting machine based on crop seeds.It occupies an important position in agricultural production of our country.Since the founding of new China，the development of seeding machinery in China has experienced four stages including introduction and imitation，independent design and development，improving product structure，and rapid development.Product and technical features in each stage were summaried.Development trend of technology was prospected.It provided reference for scientific research units and production enterprises to develop seeding machinery.
