Abstract: During the 13th Five-Year Plan，new requirements for promoting cultivation of the top-notch students in basic courses and improving level of agricultural mechanization in China were put forward.A large number of highly qualified and innovative agricultural mechanization talents are needed.Combined with its own conditions，and actively responds positively to national call，a training model on the first and second classroom linkage for the top-notch talents of agricultural machinery was explored by College of Engineering，Northeast Agricultural University.After 7 years of hard work and constant improvement of training model，mode has achieved remarkable results，the top class students in scientific research and work had shown a higher professional quality and personal ability.
