Abstract: Domestic and overseas research status of chopper device for chopper type sugarcane harvester was detailedly described and summarized.Operational principle of chopper device for sugarcane harvester and influence mechanism of structure parameters and working parameters on cutting effect were expounded.And suggestions on research of chopper device for sugarcane harvester were put forward from points of cleaning optimization，cutting quality enhancement，sugar loss decrease and power dissipation of components decrease.
