Abstract: Color selector is an important equipment for quality control and upgrading of agricultural products，and has a wide range of applications in agriculture. With upgrading of existing technology，light source，as one of important modules of color selector，has gradually developed from original fluorescent lamp to the LED light source. Advantages of LED and application in the color selector，and future development prospects were analyzed.
