Abstract: A rural revitalization strategy has been put forward in the report of 19th CPC National Congress，and made it clear that it is a strategic goal in developing modernized economy.Objectives tasks，basic principles and implementation paths for rural revitalization strategy has been proposed in Central Conference on Rural Work，which put forward new requirements and directions to agricultural machinery popularization.How to give full play to role of agricultural machinery extension in implementing strategy of rural revitalization in Tianjin was expounded，and concrete and feasible measures were put forward.
