Abstract: Each production link in agriculture influences each other and has a chain effect，problem arises in one link will affect final output.Agricultural IoT platforms could integrate data and give decisions.Principle and application of agricultural IoT were expounded，each layer structure of platform and safety protection mechanism were analyzed，that could provide theoretical reference for development of precision agriculture and promotion of agricultural industrial upgrading.
