Abstract: As basic condition for healthy and sustainable development of forestry，forest resources have suffered serious persecution under background of sustained social and economic growth.It not only affects development of forestry，but also brings environmental pollution and destruction to varying degrees，and soil erosion is becoming more and more serious.In context of sustainable development，it is of far-reaching significance to do a good job in forest pest control to help trees grow healthily，enlarge forest coverage and restore damaged ecological environment.Forest pest control involves complex contents and is easily affected by objective factors.In order to ensure effectiveness of pest control work，it is necessary to do a good job in afforestation projects，grasp factors of pest control，and put forward effective control measures to promote forestry development.Forest pest control work was analyzed，problems were deeply analyzed to grasp control factors，and seek effective measures to control them.
