Abstract: Recent years，development of smart agriculture is getting faster，and requirements for improving work efficiency and accuracy are also getting higher.Global distribution，applicants and technical fields were synthetically analyzed from perspective of global sensor and robot patents of intelligent agricultural machinery，development status，technology status and key enterprise status of intelligent agricultural machinery were understood.Number of applications for agricultural sensor patents was more than 84 000，most applications were sensor parts in foreign countries，there were more patents of internet of things system in China.There were more than 10 000 applications for agricultural robots in the world，and China had a high number of patent applications in this field.
