Abstract: By investigating development status of whole plant silage corn industry and application status of harvest modulation mechanization production technology in Tumd Right Banner in Inner Mongolia，development status both in China and other countries were compared，and development issues of silage corn industry and equipment in central and western Inner Mongolia were studied.Results showed that development trend of local silage corn industry would be to adjust structure，increase order silage planting scale and proportion of high-quality silage，and application of modern harvest modulated mechanization technology was key factor to achieve above objectives.Therefore，it is suggested to accelerate popularization of large-scale，high-quality and high-efficiency machines by means of policy support，standard construction，technology promotion and subsidy so as to promote popularization of modern harvest modulation mechanization technology.And it would promote popularization of modern harvest modulation mechanization technology and promote steady and healthy development of silage corn industry.
