Abstract: At present，problem of soil pollution had gradually become a focus of attention.There were many deficiencies in the laws and regulations related to prevention and control of soil pollution in China.In process of practice，soil pollution incidents occur frequently，and work of soil pollution prevention and control could not be promoted，with little effect，seriously affecting effectiveness of soil protection in China.However，with national level attaching great importance to prevention and control of soil pollution，China′s laws and regulations system is gradually improving，and legislative work is carried out in an orderly manner.Promulgation of national policies and regulations on soil pollution prevention and control in recent years in China was summarized，historical inevitability was analyzed，and some suggestions were put forward on formulation of subsequent laws and regulations on soil pollution prevention and control.
