Abstract: Annual applications，distribution of patent applicant and technical areas of agricultural machinery were analyzed and summarized.Patent applications of agricultural machinery were in stable development stage from application trend，China，Japan，the United States，South Korea and Germany had a large number of patent applications in field of agricultural machinery.China's agricultural machinery patents were mainly applied by universities and scientific research institutes，enterprise patent applications were few，and their research and development ability was relatively weak.Research results could provide reference for development of intelligent agricultural machinery in China.
