Abstract: A concrete implementation method suitable for automatic control principle experimental course was proposed based on the analysis of problems existing in traditional experimental teaching mode and requirement for teaching reform under the new educational situation.Combining course characteristics and applied talent cultivation objectives，reform on teaching concept，teaching content，teaching method，laboratory management and other aspects had been thoroughly explored.It provided useful reference for reform and innovation of experimental course teaching in colleges and universities.
