Abstract: A statistical analysis of Jiangxi agricultural machinery patents was made by using the Chinese patent database.Statistical analysis involved main types of agricultural machinery patents，domestic and foreign patent comparisons and applicant attributes，etc.All patents，main patent types and technologies from 1985 to 2016 were objectively described and analyzed，and current situation of agricultural machinery patents in Jiangxi was analyzed.Finally，some relative countermeasures were put forward from perspective of patent strategy research.
