Abstract: Strengthening development of agricultural mechanization is an important part of implementing strategy of rural revitalization in China.Although Dongying is a strong industrial city，development of agricultural mechanization in Shandong province is in a backward state.In order to better respond to advocacy of rural revitalization strategy，based on problems existing in development of agricultural mechanization in Dongying city，improvement suggestions from aspects of agricultural machinery equipment structure，capital investment，education and training system，social service system and government policies were put forward，so as to promote development of agricultural mechanization in Dongying city.
