Abstract: General situation and development of garlic planting and planter were briefly introduced.Through tests and comparative analysis，terminology and definition，specified quality indexes of positive bud rate were put forward，which was a key index to measure garlic planter performance.The research on garlic positive bud rate definition and quality indexes provided technical support for formulation of garlic planter standards.It is of great significance to improvement of garlic planter product quality and guick development of garlic industry.
