Abstract: Peeling is one of important procedures in potato crops processing，which has a significant impact on quality of subsequent processed products.Current status and common peeling methods of domestic and foreign peeling technology and machinery were summarized and analyzed，including introduction of detailed structure and principle.Advantages and disadvantages of each potato peeling equipment were also compared and analyzed.As a conclusion，future development trend of potato peeling were also proposed.This review may provide sufficient support for development of potato peeling technology.
